Our Story
How it started
I started baking around 2012 while living in the US. Good eggless baked treats like cinnamon rolls and cakes weren’t easy to find, so I started experimenting at home. It began with tea cakes for family and friends, then expanded to cookies and other bakes after my kids came along.
After we moved back to India, I started baking more often because my kids missed some of the treats they had grown up with. The real turning point came when my daughter encouraged me to sell my cookies at a local kids’ sale. We made 100 cookies across five flavours.
They sold out in about 90 minutes.
That gave me the push to start selling at apartment communities, events and pop-ups.
Why “CrumbleNum”?
One of the first cookies I baked after moving to Bengaluru turned out particularly crumbly. My son was very young at the time and kept asking for more “CrumbleNum cookies.”
The name stuck.
